Lidl Cien Razor Reviews – My Current Razor Choice

Lidl Cien Razor Reviews

Here is my review for the Lidl Cien Razor for men which as the title suggests, I bought from Lidl.

I’ve been using the Cien razor for about 4 months now, having bought a 20 pack with shaver handle included and am 13 shavers into the pack. So I have still have 7 new razor cartridges still left to use.

I paid the equivalent of about $7 for the pack. A very good price to be sure.

Was the low price worth the purchase?

All in, I have to say this is a very good razor that I’m able to use on both my face and scalp for daily shaving.

As the major razor manufacturers have largely abandoned the (cheaper) single and twin blade markets and focused on the 3-7 blades markets (yes 7 blades) it isn’t difficult to find various cheaper brands who focus on the 1-2 blade markets.

I don’t have sensitive skin and have never had much difficulty picking a razor even the cheaper ones.

Granted the BIC Sensitive single razor did a number on my head the first I shaved it but I learned my lesson and stopped using that particular brand.

Lidl Cien Razor Features

  • Twin steel blades
  • Lubricating strip with aloe vera
  • Soft rubber fins for comfort

Two steel blades perform the cutting of your hair. Before the hair is cut, soft rubber fins help to keep the skin taut right before shaving. Directly after the hair is cut, the lubricating strip with aloe vera helps to soothe the skin.

Lidl Cien Razor Facts

Conclusion

Considering the price I paid for 20 shavers and the handle, I have to say I’m very impressed. I rarely cut myself with these razors even when they’re new and sharp. I don’t even keep track of how long I use each razor and just replace them when I get a sense they are dulling.

I’m using a razor cartridge about 15-20 days before replacing it to be honest. And that’s using the razor on both my face and scalp.

For the price and from a guy who does a fair bit of shaving, I really have no complaints.
